Luminary Walk - November 5, 2022

The Richfield Historical/Nature Park was abuzz with activities for the first Luminary Walk. Two trails, a .4 mile one and a .8 mile one were illuminated for those who wanted to venture out on a night hike. Visitors gathered around two bonfires -- one by the Pioneer Homestead and the other near the Nature Park pavillion. Carved jack-o-lanterns greeted you throughout the grounds.

Those who visited the Pioneer Homestead were treated to free maple cotton candy, an apple and popcorn. Hot chocolate and hot apple cider could be purchased as well as a glowstick to light up the night. It was a good time to enjoy the Park at night as well as catch up on the news from friends or relatives. Many families found this to be a fun, free activity with their leashed pet and the baby in the stroller.
